Thank you for your patience as we have spent the last week developing a comprehensive Distance Learning for All plan that offers continued teaching and learning from home. Due to Oregon Governor Kate Brown’s Executive Order, we are unable to continue our traditional educational model in our classrooms. Instead, we have developed an equitable plan that allows our students to learn from home.
Beginning on Monday, April 13, our educators will provide instruction and will support learning remotely.
For the weeks ahead, packets of family friendly activities, focused on your child’s developmental needs, can be picked up at Ackerman on the following Fridays:
April 17th from 3:00 - 6:00 PM
May 1st from 3:00 - 6:00 PM
May 15th from 3:00 - 6:00 PM
Packets will be focused on the developmental needs of our students. Each packet encompasses two weeks of activities, with an activity for every day. Families will also be provided with the materials they need and helpful articles/resources. There will be no online learning components for our preschool.
