How to view or retrieve emails in archive
See the information below for more explanations on email archiving
All email messages you receive or send are automatically copied to the Email Archive System.
All of these email messages are saved in the archive for 7 years
All email messages older than 7 years will be permanently deleted
All email messages in your Deleted Items folder will be automatically deleted after they are 2 weeks old
If you would like to read old deleted items, you will now need to open using the archiving function in Outlook Web App (see directions below)
ALL email messages older than 16 months will be automatically removed from your Outlook Mailbox and will now only be visible from within NetMail
Accessing Your NetMail Email Archive:
Log on to Outlook Web Access:
In the upper right corner, click on the Archive button:
*Note* If this icon does not show up please clear your cache/cookies/history and log back in
Recommended Best practices:
Never Empty Your Deleted Items - Once an email is removed from your trash, or “permanently deleted” from Outlook, you will no longer be able to see or read it from within Outlook or NetMail
File Your Messages Into Folders Within 1 Week - Within NetMail, you will see all of your email folders, but you will not be able to move the email messages around between these folders. Once you’ve received a new email, you will have one week to move it into the folder that you would like to store it in NetMail. It will remain in this folder for seven years.
