Kindergarten iPad Carts - all have 19 iPads each
These iPads are not individually assigned to a specific student.
Teachers can assign students a specific iPad number in the cart.
If a student moves from one classroom to another the iPad does not move with the student.
Grades 1-3 Chromebook Carts - all have 25 Chromebooks each
These Chromebooks are not individually assigned to a specific student.
Teachers can assign students a specific Chromebook number in the cart.
If a student moves from one classroom to another the Chromebook does not move with the student.
Grades 4-5 Chromebook Carts - all have a Chromebook specifically assigned to each student plus 2 loaners.
Special Program Room Carts - all have an iPad or Chromebook specifically assigned to each student plus 1 loaner iPad or 2 loaner Chromebooks.
The teacher must create a helpdesk ticket for all issues with a student device.
The teacher then drops off the broken student device into a Blue bin located in either of the main offices.
The teacher can utilize a loaner device in their cart while the student's device is being repaired.
The repaired device will be returned to the teacher's mailbox to be put back into the classroom cart.
If any stickers are placed on the Chromebooks or iPads it will be the teachers responsibility to remove them over the summer.
Do not plug carts in extension cords or power strips - This could cause a fire!
Keep the cart in your room - Carts should not ever be left in hallways or moved to another room.
Please keep the carts movable and accessible - At times the IT staff will need to access the back of the cart or even take the cart temporarily for service. Placing heavy objects on it or putting furniture in front of it makes this difficult.
The carts only charge 1/3 of the devices at a time - Every 20 minutes a different set will charge so you will never see all of the charging lights on at once.
Do not lock the front of the cart - The IT staff will need to have access to the devices at all times.
