Be Friendly!
Although you'll be spending most of the time driving, you should still think of this as a customer service job.
So remember to be friendly when you ring the doorbell. The friendlier you are, the better the review you'll get!
Be an Efficient Driver!
Speed is one of the most important qualities of a driver. However, reckless driving is not the key to speed.
Use your phone's GPS for navigation to cut delivery times. Also, keep an eye out for shortcuts that the GPS doesn't pick up on.
Be Conscientious!
Make sure everything you are delivering is appropriately stored and or strapped in the truck.
No customer wants their appliance to arrive damaged. Ensure that nothing is moving around in the truck.
Most Importantly, Be Patient with all Customers!
