Services Provided
Dishwashers
When receiving your dishwasher, the delivery team will:
Place the dishwasher in the room of choice in the box.
Built-in Appliances
Built-in appliances such as Microwaves, Ventilation units, Cooktops, and Wall-ovens will be left in the box.
The delivery team will:
Place the item in the room of choice in box.
Haul-Away / Appliance Relocation
Delivery Teams will only haul away dishwashers, vents, microwaves, cooktops, wall ovens & freezers that are fully disconnected from all water, ventilation, and electrical connections before the team's arrival.
At the customer's request, the above mentioned appliances may be relocated inside the customer's home 1-for-1 as long as there is no risk or property damage and the unit is uninstalled and ready to be moved.
Haulaway units are 1-for-1 and must be the same size or smaller than the delivered appliance.
All haul-away units must be clean and not pose any health or biohazard risk.
Haul-away unit(s) cannot be returned to you once removed.
CAS haulaway will not reschedule an appointment for any appliance move or removal that is not completed on the day of delivery.
Levelling of appliances (Washer / Dryer only if being installed).
Installation with CAS(or Manufacturer) provided hoses ONLY (or if provided by customer brand new in packaging).
Installation of New Washers and Dryers ONLY – NOT HAIER WITH CAS BRAIDED HOSES. BOSCH AND BLOMBERG APPLIANCES SHOULD ONLY BE INSTALLED WITH THE HOSES THAT COMES WITH THE APPLIANCE
Stacking of new Washers and Dryers only. (the team will not stack an old appliance on a new or vice versa)
Installing new Pedestals on new Washers and Dryers ONLY. (can not install new machine on old pedestals or vice versa)
Removing shipping bolts once defrocked / unpackaged – ALL WASHERS. Shipping bolts and rods must be left with customer.
Removal of Washers on Pedestals if being scrapped ONLY.
Washing Machines & Steam Washing Machines
When delivering a washer and/or dryer, the delivery team will:
Unbox and remove exterior packaging.
Place the appliance in the customer’s preferred location.
Removal of Shipping Bolts, Blocks and Rods (which are to be left with the customer)
Dispose of all delivery garbage from packaging and installation.
If Installation is purchased, the delivery team will also:
Install washer and/or dryer as per manufacturer instructions.
Connect water hoses to an existing water supply using proper fittings.
Secure the washer’s drain hose using a zip tie to prevent displacement or leaks.
Plug in the unit and ensure all power and water connections are properly secured.
Install stacking kits and dryer venting if applicable.
Level both washer and/or dryer as required.
Washer Test Cycle Requirements
If the delivery includes installation of a washing machine, the delivery team will also:
Secure the drain hose using a zip tie, and ensure it is correctly and securely positioned in the standpipe.
Take a photo of the secured drain hose with the zip tie and all water connections, and upload it to the FCAD delivery app.
Take additional photos of the installed washer and dryer in the customer’s home, showing all connection points (water supply, power, drain, venting, etc.)
Run a test cycle on the washer long enough for the unit to fill the tub with water.
Observe the drain cycle to confirm that water is properly draining with no leaks at the connection points.
If a leak is observed at any point during the test, call CAS HD immediately for further direction before proceeding.
Document the completed test cycle in the delivery notes within FCAD.
Important Notes:
A test cycle must be run on every washer installed to verify functionality and prevent potential water damage.
Failure to secure the drain hose or to test the connection can result in water leaks and claims, which this procedure is designed to prevent
Photo documentation of water connections is required once the installation is complete.

Test Cycle Operation steps.
The user Manual will outline the steps required to enter a washer test mode in order to fill the tub with water and drain in order to confirm hose connections are secure and not leaking.
Below are some examples for common brands.
Samsung
To run a diagnostic test cycle on a Samsung washing machine, first power on the machine.
Then, press and hold the Delay End and Temperature buttons simultaneously until the door locks and the machine begins to spin. The digital display will act as a tachometer during the spin cycle. Press the Temperature and Delay End buttons together to cancel the spin cycle.
LG
To enter the test cycle on LG washing machine, ensure the washer has power and is turned on. Press and hold the SPIN SPEED and SOIL LEVEL buttons, then press the POWER button. The buzzer will sound twice, and the door will lock, indicating successful entry into test mode. Press START/PAUSE to cycle through the available tests.
Electrolux
To enter the diagnostic test cycle on an Electrolux washer, first power on the machine and select the Normal cycle. Then, power off the machine and immediately power it back on while holding the Temp and Select (or Set) buttons simultaneously for a few seconds. The unit will enter test mode when the lights start blinking.
Midea
To run a test cycle on a Midea washing machine, press the power, soak, and extra rinse buttons, then quickly press the soil level button while the lights are flashing. If successful, a "3" will appear on the control panel
Standard Test
Once the washer is connected to the water and drain pipe, start it up and select a quick cycle. Once the water starts filling, pause it and cancel the cycle, it will drain the water so you can observe any leaks on the drain hose.
Stack new CAS laundry units if a compatible stacking kit is purchased and on-site during delivery.
Laundry units will be mounted on the laundry pedestal if compatible units are purchased at CAS and on-site during delivery.
Blomberg and Bosch installations MUST only be done with the hoses that come with the appliance.
Electric Dryers
If the drying machine is to be delivered with no installation the team will only:
Unbox and remove exterior packaging.
Place the item in the room of your choice.
Disposal of delivery garbage.
If the installation is purchased the delivery team will also:
Installation includes a standard (5’) Aluminum foil dryer vent and two clamps.
Disconnect dryer duct (if applicable)
Connect dryer vent to dryer existing home ventilation system.
Leveling of the dryer.
Plug in and perform power on test (existing 220v outlet).
Stack new CAS laundry units if a compatible stacking kit is purchased and on-site during delivery.
Laundry units will be mounted on the laundry pedestal if compatible units are purchased at CAS and on-site during delivery.
Gas Dryers
On delivery, the team will;
Unbox and remove exterior packaging
Place the item in the room of your choice.
Disposal of delivery garbage.
Attach dryer Legs if required
Level dryer
Connect the Dryer vent to the back of the unit if purchased
Standard (5’) Aluminum foil dryer vent and two clamps available for purchase (SKU: DryDuct).
Stack new CAS laundry units if a compatible stacking kit is purchased and on-site during delivery.
Laundry units will be mounted on the laundry pedestal if compatible units are purchased at CAS and on-site during delivery.
Services Not Provided.
Connect any gas line.
CAS recommends a certified gas installer.
Refrigerators and Freezers
When receiving a refrigerator and/or freezer, the delivery team will:
Unbox and remove exterior packaging
Remove the fridge door and reinstall it if required to bring the unit inside
Place the item in the room and location of choice.
Installation of handles as required
Remove and re-attach handles and doors to complete delivery, as needed.
Align the doors as required.
Level the product as required.
Disposal of delivery garbage.
Door Swing if purchased
If refrigerator waterline installation service is purchased the delivery team will also:
Connect an existing waterline to a refrigerator water connection using a quick release connector or compression connector.(The delivery team will NOT run a new water line).
Leak test the water connection hose to ensure proper operation
Plug in the refrigerator and install waterfilter if applicable.
Level the appliance as required for proper operation
All fridge waterline connections must be to an isolated existing water connection with its own shut off valve. We will not connect to copper water pipes.
Manufacturers recommend leaving the fridge unplugged for 3-4 hours to allow the coolant to settle from moving.
Large built-in refrigerators that require anti-tip bracket installation will not be unboxed.
Installation of legs on Ranges (Monogram, Bosch, Bertazzoni and Fulgor Milano – NO BlueStar).
Electric Ranges
When receiving an electric range, the delivery team will:
Unbox and remove exterior packaging
Place the item in the room and location of choice.
Set electric burners in place.
Installation of legs on Ranges (Except Blue Star)
Level range as required.
Plug in freestanding electric range (existing 220v outlet)
Disposal of delivery packaging.
Services Not Provided.
We cannot Install manufacturer-provided "anti-tip" or other stability device.
We cannot Install handles, kick plates, trim kits, or casters.
Drop-in ranges (cooking surface is wider than cabinet) require custom installation. Select Bosch ranges only.
Gas Ranges
When receiving a gas range, the delivery team will:
Unbox and remove exterior packaging
Place the item in the room of your choice.
Disposal of delivery garbage.
Leave grates and burners in the packaging.
Level range as required.
Installation of legs on Ranges (Except Blue Star).
Services Not Provided.
Connect any gas line.
Drop-in ranges (cooking surface is wider than cabinet) require custom installation.
CAS recommends a certified gas installer.
Services NOT Provided
Services Not Provided - General
Please note that delivery teams cannot complete the following services for any delivery.
No uninstalling or disconnection of any GAS appliance.
Will cannot stack old appliances on new appliances or pedestals.
We cannot reverse any washer or dryer door.
Install manufacturer-provided "anti-tip" or other stability device for any appliance.
Cut or alter the manufacturer's attachments.
No removal of drain caps on new builds.
Shut off the residential water main.
The team will not lift any appliance above their waist.
We cannot remove house doors that are installed with screws (spring-loaded, folding and sliding glass doors etc.).
We cannot remove windows.
We cannot remove railings or stair lifts.
Perform carpentry work (altering, drilling walls, floors or cabinets, etc.).
Perform electrical work (changing fuses, wiring within an electrical outlet).
The delivery team will not allow the recipient to assist with delivery or installation.
