MARCHFEST FAMILIES AND SPECTATORS:


We are excited to welcome you to Cameron for our celebration of marching bands and music in motion! Please find, below, information that will help guide you and give you the best possible experience throughout the day.

 **If you have any questions or concerns, find a volunteer wearing a bright gold t-shirt with a Marchfest logo on the front, and they will be happy to assist you. 


GENERAL SPECTATOR PARKING INFO - Parking for the parade will be available at several public lots. Free public lots are available at Second and Cherry and at the south end of Second and Main. For the afternoon events, parking for the general public will be at Dave Goodwin field for the field shows competition. Additional parking is available at the First Baptist Church (202 E. Ford) and at the River of Life Church (811 S Walnut). Handicapped parking is available at the Swimming Pool lot, just across Seminary St. from Dave Goodwin Field.  Appropriate handicap parking sticker is requested for access. CHS parking will be either in the main south lot (off Park St), or off of Chestnut Street on the north & east side of the school. 


THERE WILL A FREE SHUTTLE VAN CIRCLING THE SCHOOL CAMPUS AREA THROUGHOUT THE DAY FROM 11 - 5!   Pick up will be along Park and Chestnut Streets. 


PARADE - Local restaurants and vendors are looking forward to welcoming you on Saturday morning. 

There are restaurants throughout town and on Third Street, opening early Saturday morning to serve you! Whether you are looking for morning coffee/tea, or a hot breakfast, Cameron restaurants will meet your needs. 


ENTRY COST AT DAVE GOODWIN FIELD IS $5.00 (OVER 18); INDOOR EVENTS ARE FREE! Cash or Venmo accepted.


AVAILABLE FOR SPECTATORS/BAND STUDENTS:

Printed programs will be available for sale for $3. They will include information about the festival, and make a great souvenir. 

Specially printed MarchFest t-shirts will be available for sale.

AIR-GRAMS (an announcement to be read over the PA after a field show performance) will be available for purchase at the football field. 

Food - Concession stands including popcorn, candy, soda, water, and other traditional fare will be open at both the high school and the football field. Lunch options will include pulled pork sandwiches and nachos at the stadium, and likely some food trucks.  Limited picnic tables will be available for seating. Food purchased on-site can also be taken back into the stadium.  No other outside food will be allowed to be brought into the Gym or Football Stadium.


RESTROOMS - There are public restrooms in McCorkle Park (parade), Recreation Park, CHS, and Dave Goodwin Field. In addition, there will be porta potties located in the swimming pool lot and near bus parking areas for students.
