Angela Shea

Sent in by Mrs. Campos

"My selection for student of the month is Angela Shea. Not only is she one of the kindest, and most respectful students, her work ethic and determination are exemplary. She never fails to bring her positive attitude and joyful spirit to all our meetings. Her love for her family and the Lord is ever so clear. I am excited to see all that she will achieve in the future. Angela and her family are a blessing to me and our school community."

Jada Hackett

Sent in by Mrs. Robinson

"Jada has excellent grades and a great attitude. For PE she selected a dance type app that showcases her fun side; also she is really good at it. She likes to come to our weekly meetings early and it is always a joy to meet with her each week."

Kaili Marcos

Sent in by Mr. R-Z

"Kaili has it all. She is very kind and has a light, sweet way about her. She is, however, a very serious student and exceeds in every subject. Our meetings are great and I look forward to them each week."

Lincoln Holbrook

Sent in by Mrs. Holyde

"Lincoln started CPA this year as an 8th grader. I have watched him grow and flourish here. He is polite, engaging, and intelligent. I appreciate how he is prepared for our class meetings and I always enjoy our conversations and his insights. Lincoln not only consistently gets high marks on his schoolwork, but I also understand he is quite the baker. He is a member of the Cooking Club and I just wish I lived a bit closer to him, so I could sample some of his creations!"

Sara Navarrete

Sent in by Mrs. White

"Sara Navarrete is new to our school this year and within a few short weeks, she impressed my socks off! Sara is highly skilled and intelligent at just about everything she tackles. She has earned straight A's in her first semester with challenging courses. For her second semester, she loaded up with an equally difficult course and added a seventh class! She maintains her straight A's and has recently taken on several extracurricular activities. She is one of our newest members of the News-Leader team. Don't miss out on her work with the Missionary Family Report in this edition. Sara is such a joy to work with and I feel privileged to be her teacher."

Riley Claflin

Sent in by Mrs. Landa

"This is Riley's first year at Calvary and she has done an amazing job! She has worked really hard and it shows!"

Sebastian Iniguez

Sent in by Mrs. Cammarano

"Sebastian is my reliable and diligent eighth-grader. I look forward to meeting with him every week. He is a bright student and his work is always completed with care. Sebastian has a big heart and helps his beautiful sisters, plus his parents. He has a joyful personality and I am honored to be his teacher."

Aurora Poulton-Garcia

Sent in by Mrs. Russell

"Aurora has been an excellent new addition to our student body this year. She is a great student with fantastic organizational and study skills. She is always on time for our meetings, communicative when she has questions, and shows great effort in all her classes. She has been able to balance all this while moving to a new state this semester as well! I have been blessed to work with Aurora this year. Keep up the great work, Aurora!"
