On February 17th, we had the great honor and privilege to have Pastor Joseph Bondarenko speak about his experiences and imprisonment as a pastor in the former Soviet Union. With his daughter Vera interpreting, Pastor Bondarenko spoke to all who attended about the hardships and torture he went through; this included the 10 years of his life in and out of Soviet prisons because of his faith in the Lord and teaching youth about the Word of God.

This is a recording of our Symposium with Pastor Joseph Bondarenko and his daughter, Vera. We encourage you to watch this video as you will get to hear from the man who continued to spread the Word of God no matter the circumstances.

Even though he suffered greatly and received death threats from numerous people and governmental agencies, Pastor Bondarenko never lost his hope and faith in God and continued preaching even under the harsh persecution of the former Soviet Union's communist government. He shared with us a powerful message of how we should never lose our trust in the Lord no matter the situation and told us about some of the amazing miracles from God he witnessed to protect him from harm. At the age of 86 now, Pastor Bondarenko still remains devoted and dedicated to God. He still has the eagerness he had during his younger days of being a pastor and continues to try in his best ways to spread the Word of God, showing us that he is a living example of how God never leaves our side no matter what.

Pastor Bondarenko wrote his autobiography, The KGB's Most Wanted, to share his experiences as a pastor in the Soviet Union. We greatly ask you to read his book, for it tells a powerful message of faith, hope, and trust in God. If you are interested in buying Pastor Bondarenko's autobiography, click on the link above.

Pastor Joseph Bondarenko founded The Good Call Ministries, which is a non-profit organization based in California that serve the needs of local communities and Bible-based churches internationally. The TGCM also supports newly-established Christian churches, orphanages, and missionaries in Ukraine and Russia.

We would like everyone to have the opportunity to read Pastor Bondarenko's book. Therefore, if a student from CPA desires to read his book, a generous donator will be offering to purchase it for them. Our only requirement is that they write a summary of the Symposium and submit it to their teacher. A recording of the Symposium can be found in the video above.

The Symposium section was brought to you by Morgan Lee.
