Summer Packet Instructions for Students entering Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Integrated Math

All summer work will be done through a student account on Khan Academy.  You may login using your CCS email.  Please make sure that your username has your last name in it and is easily recognizable as you. 

If you need help setting up an account, adding the class to your existing account, or determining what assignments you need to complete please visit the Khan Academy help page.  

Signing Up for the Class

There are two ways to sign up for the summer work class.  

Option 1: Link

You may sign up for the class using the link provided below.  Khan Academy will ask you to either sign in to your account or create a new account.  If you already have an account, just sign in.  If you need to create a new account, just follow the instructions.

• Entering Geometry 

• Entering Algebra 2

• Entering Integrated Math

If you cannot see the assignments, email Miss Kalli at ekalli@ccsnj.net with your name and grade level.

Option 2: Class Code

Once you have logged in to your Khan Academy account, you may enter a class code.  When you are on the learner home page, scroll down so the link for "Teachers" appears on the left side of the screen.  Click on the link and select enter the class code that corresponds to the class in which you are enrolled: 

• Entering Algebra 1: TKU7FAV4  

• Entering Geometry: KH7AXMWY

• Entering Algebra 2: SPA8W8W6  

• Entering Integrated Math: 9VNHKR4D 

If you cannot see the assignments, email Miss Kalli at ekalli@ccsnj.net with your name and grade level.

Locating and Completing Assignments

After you are enrolled in the class, the class name should show up on the left side of the "learner home" page.  Under the class name, you will have a link to the assignments.  You do not need to complete any content that is not specifically listed under the assignments.

 As you complete the questions in each assignment, most will have a link at the bottom to a video that can help you if you have trouble.  The videos will open a new tab.  You must have at least a 65% correct on each assignment.  If you do not have a 65% on your first attempt, please try watching the suggested video and try the assignment again.  Let Miss Kalli know if you have tried an assignment multiple times and are unable to get the required grade: ekalli@ccsnj.net.  

All assignments must be completed by the first day of school.
