Math
Here’s a fun and easy way to help your child keep building strong math skills at home! A little bit of practice now can go a long way in helping them feel confident with math as they grow.
At school, in our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades, we’ve been using 99math—a kid-friendly program where students can play math games on their own or with classmates. Just 20 minutes of practice per week, during the summer months, can really help reinforce what they’ve been learning. We are requiring our rising 4th, 5th and 6th grade students to continue the use of this program for their summer math assignment. Please be sure that your child is logged into their school account so that their teachers can track their progress. All our students were given their login information and the teachers sent this information out to you. This is a mandatory math assignment that your child will need to complete and will count as their first math test/quiz grade of the new school year.
As your child plays, they’ll earn fun pets, avatars, and build their own world—all while practicing important math skills. It’s a great way to turn screen time into learning time!
