1st Grade

For the summer, you must read 1 book either from the list below or a book of your choice. Once you have read, be ready to verbally give a Book Buzz to your class during the first few days in September. Your 1-2 minute Book Buzz must include the following:

• Give a summary of the book read.

• Identify the character you liked best or least as well as explain why.

• Would you recommend the book you read? Why or why not?
