Completing the activities listed below will give you a solid understanding of Skyward's Educator Access Gradebook, and prepare you to get the school year started.
Please complete the following activities in order...

1. Watch the Skyward Educator Access Overview video and complete the following tasks:
Login to Skyward using the directions and credentials provided by your technology director or trainer
Click on the link to Educator Access Plus
From your Educator Access Plus Home page, click on each of the links listed below to familiarize yourself with each area. Note: clicking the Skyward Back button or the Home button will take you back to your Educator Access Plus Home page.

2. Watch the Skyward Gradebook - Tabs Overview video below and complete the following tasks:
Click on My Gradebook, then click on the link for one of your courses
Mouse over each tab in your Gradebook to see the available options
Mouse over the Display Options tab, then click Grade Period Display
Un-check any terms that you do not wish to display in your Gradebook at this time. Note: the current term will always display.
Use the tutorials below to run a blank Grade Sheet Report and Class Roster for each class/gradebook.

3. **Secondary Gradebook users ONLY - Watch the Adding Assignments video and complete the following tasks:
Add an Assignment to at least one of your gradebooks
Copy that Assignment to at least one of your other gradebooks (if applicable)
Edit one of your Assignments
3. **Standards Based Gradebook users ONLY - Use the Standards Gradebook Overview and Add an Event tutorials listed below to complete the following tasks:
**The options below may not be available in your Gradebook - this is determined by your District...**
Add an Event to at least one of your gradebooks
Copy that Event to at least one of your other gradebooks (if applicable)
Edit one of your Events

4. **Secondary Gradebook users ONLY - Watch the Scoring Assignments video and complete the following tasks:
Use Quick Scoring to add scores to assignments for several students
Use the Show Cell Details button to add detail to a score
Enter scores by Assignment - click on the name of the Assignment, then click Score Entry
Use the Mass Assign Options to enter or remove scores for all students for one assignment
Review the No Count and Missing checkboxes so that you understand how they function and the impact of each on a student's overall grade
Delete all scores that you have entered
4. **Standards Based Gradebook users ONLY - Use the Scoring Events tutorial listed below to complete the following tasks:
**The options below may not be available in your Gradebook - this is determined by your District...**
Enter student scores for Skills or Events - Click on the Skill or Event, click Score Entry (Events only)
Mass assign a score for all students
Mass remove a score for all students
Delete all scores that you have entered

5. Watch the Taking Attendance video and complete the following tasks:
**Note: The system does not allow you to take attendance for non-school days**
From your Educator Access Plus Home page, click Post Daily Attendance
Click each of the following links, and review each tutorial, to familiarize yourself with the attendance entry methods:

6. Use the Assigning Seating Charts tutorial listed below to setup a seating chart in at least one of your classes.
