Compound ("complex") Fraction: a fraction with a numerator or denominator that is also a fraction

Proportional Relationship: a scenario that can be represented by a proportion. Example: 20 strawberries per basket can be written as (20 strawberries)/(1 basket) = (? strawberries)/(3 baskets)
Rate: another word for ratio. The word "rate" is typically used when describing change.
Ratio: a comparison of numbers by division. Examples: 3/4, 3:4, 3 to 4
Unit Rate: a rate with a denominator of 1
