Students are REQUIRED to complete and submit the GALE Database organizer before typing their essay. This helps students find at least 3 credible sources to use in their essay. Make sure the Database organizer is fully completed before submimssion! Remember, all writing must be done in the documents provided in Google Classroom.
*REQUIRED GRAPHIC ORGANIZER can be found in Google Classroom! Do not type or draft any of your writing process outside of the Google Classroom documents.
When you have completed your graphic organizer, copy and paste the following sentence into the Edgenuity submission box:
"I understand that completing the graphic organizer provided in Google Classroom is required before I begin writing my essay. I realize that if my graphic organizer is missing, then my final draft will not be accepted for grading."
HEADS UP REGARDING THE "Pre-Writing" ASSIGNMENT IN EDGENUITY!
The next assignment in Edgenuity will be a "Pre-Writing" assignment, where Edgenuity provides a field for typing your outline. Since you are completing your graphic organizer NOW and in Google Classroom, do not type anything new in Edgenuity.
For the "Pre-Writing" assignment in Edgenuity, you may paste your completed organizer from Google Classroom there to show your progress, but please do all of your typing and drafting in the Google Classroom document provided for you for this step-- NOT separately in Edgenuity.
