Taking meaningful notes will help you recall information and have a better understanding of what you are learning. Why?
It requires that you actively listen to your teacher.
Makes you think about what you are writing.
Helps you to connect different topics and concepts.
Is a great way for you to review the material.
The Guided Notes provide additional scaffolding for students by reducing the cognitive load required to listen and take notes at the same time.
Currently the following libraries will have the Guided Notes feature:
Math: Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II
ELA: ELA 9 and ELA 10
Science: Physical Science and Biology
Social Studies: US History and World History
1. Find your current or previous lesson on your course map
2. Click on the paper and pencil icon to download the Guided Notes as a pdf
3. Use the Chrome Extension "DocHub " or "Kami" (or other PDF & document annotation app) to be able to type or use a pencil tool on the pdf
You can save you completed pdf to your Google Drive, if desired.
