By now you and your parent/guardian should have met with your homeroom teacher to review and sign the Master Agreement.
STOP
If you have not had this meeting you will not be able to get started in your courses. Please reach out to your homeroom teacher to set up your master agreement meeting.
All students with a signed master agreement will receive a CalPac Chromebook to use to complete their online school work. This Chromebook is monitored by the school and only gives students access to the sites they need to do school work on.
This computer has been uniquely assigned to you and will come preloaded with all of the programs you will need access to at CalPac. You will only be able to sign in to the device using your CalPac school email. The only setup you will need to do is connect this device to your WIFI network.
Use this guide to familiarize yourself with your Chromebook and check here for more tips.
All students are issued a school Google account and email. This account will be required to login to your CalPac Chromebook, will be your username on the Student Portal, and will be needed for other programs at CalPac. Your teachers will email you at this student email address so it is important that you check your email messages each day.
This school computer and your school email are for school use only and all communication and activity using it are closely monitored by the school using GoGuardian. Administration can review any and all use at any time. While this computer is in your care, you are expected to follow all of CalPac’s acceptable use for technology here. A technology use agreement was signed as part of your enrollment. Misuse of your email will follow CalPac’s disciplinary and acceptable use policies, including suspension of account privileges.
Choosing to use a personal computer may limit the programs and products you have access to. If you choose to use a personal computer, you will still be required to sign in to your school Google account to fully participate and must use that account email for all school related programs. You are required to use the Chromebook for NWEA and state assessments.
All students have been given a CalPac student email.
Please use that email on all correspondence with your teachers.

Wednesdays @ 10am
Weekly group homeroom meetings provide:
opportunities to connect with peers
build community
learn about upcoming CalPac activities and events
check your progress
self development
and other fun and interactive activities
As outlined in the independent study policy, students are required to meet with their homeroom teacher each week. Students in grades 9-12 attend group homeroom meetings via Zoom with their homeroom teachers every Wednesday at 10:00AM.
Please be prepared to be on camera and to engage in the group activity. If you are absent for the group homeroom meeting, you'll need to schedule a 1:1 appointment with your teacher. Please look for an email from your teacher with their Zoom class meeting link.
All teachers use Zoom for their homeroom meetings and some teachers also use Zoom for their content live sessions. Therefore, all students will be attending meetings in Zoom. Please read the information below on how to set up your CalPac Zoom account and how to access your teacher's Zoom room.
Make sure to accept your Zoom account activation invite in your CalPac email. You must be signed in to your Zoom school account to join your teacher's Zoom room. Once you've activated your Zoom account you will just click on your teacher's link to join their Zoom session.
If you get an error message that says only authenticated members are allowed to join this session this means that you are not signed in to your Zoom school account and need to do so before joining the session.
