Each week, you will be attending a 1-hour live session for each class you are enrolled in (CR classes do not have live sessions). These classes are held in Zoom or Adobe, and they are engaging, cover relevant material connected to the course content, and include opportunities for student interaction and participation. All sessions have an objective and essential question.
Each subject has a day of the week for their live sessions. The schedule is as follows:
Monday - Science
Tuesday - Math
Wednesday - Mandatory Homeroom Meeting at 10am
Wednesday - English
Thursday - Social Studies
Friday - Electives (these courses may also fit on other days but will not conflict with the assigned subject on that day)
All teachers use Zoom for their homeroom meetings and some teachers also use Zoom for their content live sessions. Therefore, all students will be attending meetings in Zoom. Please read the information below on how to set up your CalPac Zoom account and how to access your teacher's Zoom room.
Make sure to accept your Zoom account activation invite in your CalPac email. You must be signed in to your Zoom school account to join your teacher's Zoom room. Once you've activated your Zoom account you will just click on your teacher's link to join their Zoom session.
If you get an error message that says only authenticated members are allowed to join this session this means that you are not signed in to your Zoom school account and need to do so before joining the session.
