The eco-committee is led by Mrs J. Howells and Mrs R. Woodland
Here at Lodge Hill Primary our aim is to make our new school as eco-friendly as possible. Our eco-committee are central to helping us achieve this goal. The eco-committee at Lodge Hill is run by our school council.
We hold monthly meetings where ideas are shared on how to make our school and community even more environmentally friendly.
Some of the activities and projects we have lead and taken part in are;
Weekly plastic recycling collections from each classroom.
Daily paper recycling from each classroom
Embarking on becoming a Fair trade school by making pupils more aware of the injustices of trade.
We are always looking for new ways to make our school more sustainable, if you have any ideas you would like to share, please contact Mrs Howells on howellsj204@hwbcymru.net
