Key questions and discussion points to address with your HST to determine what curriculum is best for your student.
Does your student prefer to learn online or offline?
Does your student want to attend live classes online?
Is having a content teacher (HQT) important to you and your student?
Is having a traditional homeschooling educational experience your preference?
Is your student requiring advanced courses, or are they performing at or below grade level?
Does your student have an IEP or 504 Plan?
Does having a complete A-G online curriculum preferred, or do you like piecing materials together as you follow an A-G outline?
Demonstration of Learning
Students will demonstrate learning through their body of work and work submission during each Learning Period (LP). Each work sample should include the following:
Demonstrate the student's best work completed in the LP
Student's original work
Include the student's name and date. The work sample date needs to be on a school day
Course title as it appears on the Master Agreement
Proof work was graded. If using an outside vendor, share the gradebook for each LP with HST.
