AS French
AS French is a popular subject at St. Patrick's. Students from humanities and science backgrounds are increasingly aware of the advantages of having a language to further their careers. Students are given the opportunity to spend valuable time with a native speaker three times a week which is unique to St. Patrick's, and are encouraged to attend language courses in France.

AS French is comprised of three modules. At AS level, French students study the film "Manon des Sources" as an introduction to A-Level literature.
Resources
At AS Level we use the Élan series alongside the AQA A-Level French textbooks to deliver the course. Grammar is taught using a variety of books and blended learning.
