At St. Patrick's, there are currently three members of the Modern Foreign Languages Department who teach French.
Our language classrooms are vibrant, welcoming learning environments equipped with Interactive White Boards to integrate ICT to enhance teaching and learning.

Key Stage Three
At St. Patrick's, all students study French in Year 8. At the end of Year 8, students choose two languages from French, Irish and Spanish which they will continue to study up to the end of Year 10. In the Junior School, all students are allocated three periods of French language per week. We currently use the Expo series to deliver French at Key Stage 3 as well as blended learning resources to teach grammar and structures.
