The Metal Fabrication Studio is available to all Ringling students, faculty, and approved staff. The Metal Fabrication Studio has all the equipment needed to bend, shape, join, grind, and form metal.

Saturday noon-8:00pm
Sunday noon-8:00pm
All users are required to complete a safety training before using the Metal Fabrication Studio. Trainings are valid for one calendar year from the date completed.
To begin the training, first fill out the Shop User Agreement Form, linked below.
Once you've completed the agreement form, you can sign up for an in-person session. If you don't see a session that works for your schedule, email makerspace@c.ringling.edu and we will try to accommodate you.
The Metal Fabrication Studio is open to all authorized Ringling College of Art + Design students and faculty.
Staff may make a written request for special permission from the Vice President for Academic Affairs to use the facilities for a specific project for a specific period of time.
Continuing education students may use the facilities only during their scheduled class times.
Upon arrival at the studio, you will be asked to sign in and your authorization status will be checked before you begin working.
Users are required to bring their own materials.
The Metal Fabrication Studio is primarily set up to work with mild steel. Please consult with one of our staff before purchasing or bringing in other types of metal.
