Glass Studio

The Glass Studio has facilities for working with hot, molten glass as well as cutting, grinding, and polishing cold glass. Students from all majors are welcome to gain access to the glass studio by taking a glassblowing class.

Hours

There are no open studio hours this semester. To use the glass studio, please contact makerspace@c.ringling.edu to make an appointment.

Access

The hot shop is currently limited to students who are taking or have taken Intro to Glassblowing or those who can demonstrate sufficient experience to work safely and independently in the shop. The cold shop is limited to students enrolled in glass or sculpture classes who have been trained.
