Meeting Dates

The public is always welcome at the Board of Fire Commissioners' monthly business meetings to hear updates or address the BOFC with comments or questions.  Meetings take place in the main hall at the Bradley Gardens Volunteer Fire Company, 24 Old York Road, Bridgewater, NJ 08807 beginning at 7:30 p.m.

2025 MEETING DATES:

 January 15, 2025 – 7:30 p.m.

Our 2025 budget will be adopted at this meeting. 2025 petitions to run for the Board of Fire Commissioners in Fire District 2 are due prior to 1/17/25 and can be obtained by emailing Secretary Chris Ireland at bwtfd2@yahoo.com.

 February 15, 2025 - Annual Election

Registered voters in Fire District #2 are asked to vote from 2-9 p.m. on the following:

• TWO (2) candidates for a THREE (3) year term to the Board of Fire Commissioners, Bridgewater Fire District #2, Somerset County, NJ.

• The 2025 budget for $579,877.23 with $546,197.23 to be raised by taxation.

• Mail-in ballots can be requested from the County Clerk’s Office, 908-231-7006.

Monday, March 17, 2025 – 7:30 p.m.

April 16, 2025 – 7:30 p.m.

Monday, May 19, 2025 – 7:30 p.m.

June 18, 2025 – 7:30 p.m.

July 16, 2025 – 7:30 p.m.

August 20, 2025 – 7:30 p.m.

September 17, 2025 – 7:30 p.m.

October 15, 2025 – 7:30 p.m.

November 19, 2025 – 7:30 p.m.

 December 17, 2025 *Our 2026 budget will be available for public

review at 6:30 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. meeting start.
