Meeting Dates

The public is always welcome at the Board of Fire Commissioners' monthly business meetings to hear updates or address the BOFC with comments or questions.  Meetings take place in the main hall at the Bradley Gardens Volunteer Fire Company, 24 Old York Road, Bridgewater, NJ 08807 beginning at 7:30 p.m.

2026 MEETING DATES:

 January 21, 2026 – 7:30 p.m.

Our 2026 budget will be adopted at this meeting. 2026 petitions to run for the Board of Fire Commissioners in Fire District 2 are due prior to 1/23/26 and can be obtained by emailing Secretary Chris Ireland at bwtfd2@yahoo.com.

 February 21, 2026 - Annual Election

Registered voters in Fire District #2 are asked to vote from 2-9 p.m. on the following:

• TWO (2) candidates for a THREE (3) year term to the Board of Fire Commissioners, Bridgewater Fire District #2, Somerset County, NJ.

• The 2026 budget for $1,041,972.81 with $558,292.81 to be raised by taxation.

• Mail-in ballots can be requested from the County Clerk’s Office, 908-231-7006.

Monday, March 16, 2026 – 7:30 p.m.

April 15, 2026 – 7:30 p.m.

Monday, May 18, 2026 – 7:30 p.m.

June 17, 2026 – 7:30 p.m.

July 15, 2026 – 7:30 p.m.

August 19, 2026 – 7:30 p.m.

September 16, 2026 – 7:30 p.m.

October 21, 2026 – 7:30 p.m.

November 18, 2026 – 7:30 p.m.

 December 16, 2026 *Our 2027 budget will be available for public

review at 6:30 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. meeting start.
