Meeting Dates
The public is always welcome at the Board of Fire Commissioners' monthly business meetings to hear updates or address the BOFC with comments or questions. Meetings take place in the main hall at the Bradley Gardens Volunteer Fire Company, 24 Old York Road, Bridgewater, NJ 08807 beginning at 7:30 p.m.
2024 MEETING DATES:
January 17, 2024 – 7:30 p.m.
Our 2024 budget will be adopted at this meeting. 2024 petitions to run for the Board of Fire Commissioners in Fire District 2 are due prior to 1/19/24 and can be obtained by emailing Secretary Chris Ireland at bwtfd2@yahoo.com.
February 17, 2024 - Annual Election
Registered voters in Fire District #2 are asked to vote from 2-9 p.m. on the following:
ONE (1) candidate for a THREE (3) year term to the Board of Fire Commissioners, Bridgewater Fire District #2, Somerset County, NJ.
The 2023 budget for $567,428.68 with $533,748.68 to be raised by taxation.
Mail-in ballots can be requested from the County Clerk’s Office, 908-231-7006.
