Art Contests
Deadline:
Art must be completed and to Mrs. R by Thursday, October 27th by the end of the school day.

Recommended artwork size (not required): 6inches by 10inches (6"x10") or 12 inches by 20 inches (12"x20"). If you have art with different dimension that fits the theme please feel free to submit it, however it may be resized or cropped.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY:
• All registration information is shared with Sargent Art as part of the contract between CAEA and Sargent Art/YAM AND addition information regarding prizes will be released in November.
• ALL student work will be shown and judged at Beaver Run Resort at the CAEA Fall Conference in Breckenridge, Colorado. COPIES of student artwork will be exhibited at the Colorado State Capitol Youth Art Month Exhibition in March 2023. Teachers will take original artworks with them from Beaver Run to return to students.
• Youth Art Month Exhibition reception will be scheduled around March 2023 at the Colorado State Capitol Rotunda. Here, award recipients will receive certificates and prizes. Exhibition dates will be announced.
2023 Youth Art Contest - Entries Due ?
The Youth Art Contest showcases western-inspired works of art from students in grades 1st-12th. Champion and Reserve Champions will have their artwork displayed at the 2019 National Western Stock Show!
Students in grades 1st - 12th are welcome to submit their art individually.
All entrants will receive FREE grounds admission tickets to visit the National Western Stock Show. This is too good of an opportunity to miss out on!
The theme is
53 students will be named winners from their state/territory. Five finalists will be flown to Google's Mountain View headquarters, and one winning student from among the five will receive:
a $30,000 college scholarship
a $50,000 Google for Education technology package for their school
their artwork will be placed on the Google homepage for a day
The remaining 4 finalists will win a $5,000 college scholarship

Recycle Colorado Poster Contest
All of Colorado’s K-12 students are invited to showcase their artistic talent and their commitment to recycling by participating. One grand-prize winner receives a $100 gift card, and the grand-prize winner’s school receives a $200 gift card for room supplies.
