In first grade, students will learn how to read narrative and informative texts by building grade level skills and using strategies to comprehend and decode texts.


We are so excited to use our new reading program this year! The district bought Fountas & Pinnell Classroom for all elementary schools. It involves several different components of individual, small group, and class readings. Click on the link above to learn more about the program.
