Fall Intramurals 4th-5th grade - Dodgeball
Physical literacy is the ability to move with competence and confidence in a wide variety of physical activities in multiple environments that benefit the healthy development of the whole person
Bear Creek PE's mission is to develop students' fundamental movement skills through a diverse assortment of developmentally appropriate games, dance, gymnastics, and other non-traditional activities. Our program will enhance students' personal fitness, create an attitude of positive thinking, and encourage peer cooperation. In addition, PE will foster the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective aspects, which are all equally important in the development of a healthy child. Our ultimate goal is that students leave our classes with the knowledge and confidence to lead a healthy lifestyle now and into the future. At Bear Creek, we will play fair, play safe, and have fun!
We will continue to offer enhanced, dynamic, and innovative educational activities to spark the interests and encourage the wellness of our students. Our top priority will always be to meet the needs of all children through physical activity.
*We know students will face difficulties, challenges, and setbacks, but a positive attitude can help them persevere through those times. Encouraging positive attitudes in class will help create and maintain an outlook that supports their desire for satisfaction and success. *For more information on fostering positive attitudes, check out the following: Creating Encouraging, Positive Attitudes!
