What?
BCE Skate club is an opportunity for students to improve on their skate skill outside of the time they learn in our PE skateboard unit. It gives them time to freely work on skate skills at the level they are at in a safe and positive environment.

Students who are proficient on their skates/board or scooter can do so on the outside circle of the gymnasium. I will be teaching kids who are just learning on the inside of the circle.

Who?
Who?
3rd-5th grade students can participate. The reason only our upper grades are invited to participate is because they will learn the basics of skateboard safety and riding during our PE class unit before the club starts. I have found that at this age they are independent enough to put on skate pads, be aware of their surroundings and the skaters around them, and are able to follow directions safely and responsibly.
