A NOTE FROM LEADERSHIP:

Dear BVCS Families,

One of the things that makes BVCS special is that it is a community from Preschool to 12th grade. And community happens when we gather around a special cause, a common purpose, or a fun event.

Tonight, we have the opportunity for all three of those things. We would love for your family to join us at tonight’s home football game. As we gather for a football game on September 11, it creates a meaningful opportunity to express our gratitude to those in the military and first responders who serve and sacrifice for our communities and our country.

At the same time, it allows us to come together in community as believers. Whether you have a student playing on the field, or you simply want a fun night out with your family, Lions football is for everyone! Bring the kids, meet up with other BVCS families, and come experience a little Friday-night school spirit.

And tonight isn’t your only opportunity. Mark your calendars for our upcoming home games on September 25, October 9, and October 30. We’d love to see families from every part of BVCS in the stands.

But it's not just football that allows us to connect generationally. Upcoming in October is the always exciting and rewarding Grandparents Day at the Elementary School. I’ll talk about that more in another Friday@5.

Meanwhile, if you see me at the game, please be sure to stop by and say hello. I'd love the opportunity to connect with you!

CELEBRATING BVCS: Celebrating BVCS: A Staff on Mission

From our youngest preschoolers taking their first steps into the classroom to our seniors preparing to step into the world beyond BVCS, there is one constant: dedicated staff members who see their work as more than a job—it’s a mission.

Every day, our teachers, administrators, support staff, coaches, and ministry leaders invest their gifts, experience, and hearts into our students. They teach, encourage, challenge, pray, listen, lead, and model what it looks like to follow Christ in every area of life.

That’s the BVCS difference. Across our Preschool–12th grade campus, we are one team united around one mission: to nurture and equip students to impact the world for Christ.

We are grateful for the incredible people God has brought together to serve our students and families. This week, we’re Celebrating BVCS by celebrating our staff—and the mission they faithfully live out every day!

BVCS Junior High & High School Preview Day is coming October 7!

This is a great opportunity to experience "a day in the life at BVCS" for anyone that will be JH or HS next year. Invite your friends to come see the Big Valley Difference.

Current BVCS 6th & 8th graders are eligible to register to attend.

New! Event Pre-Registration

If you have previously checked in with your ID for a visitor badge, you are now eligible to pre-register to attend BVCS events.

How it works:

Follow link to our event registration page from the link below or on the BVCS App.
Choose the event you are planning on attending and complete the registration form
Bring ID to pick up your pre-printed badge in the office.

Pre-registration for events will open about 2 weeks prior to the event and will close 24 hours before the start of the event.

Have not scanned your ID in the office before? or Missed the event pre-registration window? You can still visit the office on the day of the event to scan in and receive a badge. If you have questions, contact the office at (209)527-3481.
