Last week in Chapel, we talked about how God trusts us. This week in chapel, we talked about, do we trust God? God has given us the hope of the world in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. Do we trust Him to take the hope of the world and share it with others? Or are we focused on the outward appearance (1 Samuel 16:7)? David trusted God more than he feared Goliath. Do we trust God that same way?
This weekend, take a moment as a family to ask each other, "What does it mean to trust God?"
4th-6th will have chapel from 9:15am-9:45am every Friday.
Kindergarten will have chapel from 10am-10:25am every Friday.
As always, you are welcome to join us as parents, we want you to be there. Please find the ability to watch the live stream below.
This year our theme is "David - Shepherd, King, Servant". This year we will be studying the life of David in Scripture. Our theme verse is 1 Samuel 13:14, "But now your kingdom shall not continue. The Lord has sought out a man after his own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be prince over his people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you.” As we spend time in God's Word, the Bible, together this year, we will be asking one driving question, "Who sits on the throne in your heart?" It's my desire, as your Campus Pastor, to help lead our students, families and staff into ensuring it is God who sits on the throne in our hearts.
