A NOTE FROM LEADERSHIP:

Dear BVCS Families,

As we begin another school year together, we are grateful for the continued growth and momentum we see across our campus. At BVCS, we believe healthy enrollment growth is not simply about adding more students. It is about continually becoming a stronger school. . .one that families are excited to join and proud to call home.

Our vision is to strive to reach the highest standard of Christian education by investing intentionally in our campus, strengthening academics, developing our staff, and, above all, remaining firmly centered on Christ and our mission to nurture and equip students to impact the world for Him.

Some improvements are easy to see. This year, families arriving at our 7–12 campus will notice the new cement work at the entry. Projects like this may seem simple, but they are part of our commitment to creating a campus that is welcoming, safe, functional, and reflective of the excellence we want to bring to every area of BVCS.

Other improvements happen inside our classrooms. One of our academic priorities this year is continued staff development around Explicit Direct Instruction (EDI). EDI equips teachers with practical, research-based strategies for clearly communicating learning objectives, actively engaging students, checking for understanding, and ensuring that students are truly mastering what is being taught. Investing in our teachers is one of the most important ways we can invest in our students.

And yet, improvement at BVCS will never be measured by facilities, programs, or academic outcomes alone. Christ remains at the center of who we are and why we exist. We want to pursue excellence because we believe the opportunity to educate and disciple students is something God has entrusted to us.

As BVCS continues to grow, our goal is not simply to become a bigger school. Our goal is to become a better school; one known throughout the valley for strong academics, excellent teachers, a welcoming campus, meaningful community, and an unwavering commitment to Jesus Christ.

We are thankful you have already chosen BVCS and excited about the families God may bring through our doors in the years ahead. Together, we will continue building a school worthy of that trust.
