The Butte Falls School District is our major supporter. They provide much of the financial support and staffing for the Natural Resource Center since purchasing the property nearly 10 years ago.
The Project Youth + program has supported much of the development of CTE training at the Natural Resource Center for high school students. They have allowed us to have a paid internship for interested students during the schoolyear and summer.
In 2021, the Gray Family Foundation made a major contribution to the Natural Resource Center to be used to develop the curriculum to be taught to Butte Falls Elementary students at the NRC. In 2022, they offered even more support in the expansion and growth of this curriculum for all students who attend the NRC.
Longtime supporters Ruby Edwards and Cecil Bailey have continued to provide financial support for many of the projects at the Natural Resource Center. This generous gift has funded activities such as 2022 Earth Day.
The Natural Resource Center has also received some smaller grants from a number of other organizations, including the Oregon Education Association and Jackson Soil and Water Conservation District.
