Burrell’s Behavioral and Mental Health Service aims to support ALL students, their families, and staff through a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and existing school programs. This model of support leverages the services of our Guidance Counselors and Pupil Services Team including our school social worker, professional certified counselor, school psychologist, and social emotional behavior specialist. Services include individual counseling, group counseling, social groups, behavior support, and family support. Service take place in the school during regular school hours and may include virtual or in person options. Additionally, Wesley Family Services serves our district as a school-based mental health provider. Each of our school buildings is a licensed outpatient site, which means that students can receive services during their school day from mental health professionals. For more information, please contact your child's counselor.
Burrell School District recognizes the needs of students, families, and staff in wanting to provide a supportive environment able to access support without barriers like transportation, parent schedule, etc.
