Required Documents:
Valid Social Security/I-9 acceptable documents
Current photo identification card
Work permit
TB test (working with children)
Video release (interview training)

Active IEP/504 Plan
Parent/Guardian consent
Complete application for program
Participate in pre-employment training
Complete employment interview
WorkAbility/We Can Work Expectations
Maintain consistent attendance & grades
Maintain positive standing with school staff, language, and behavior
Establish consistent transportation
Follow work schedule in work agreement - no changes without prior approval from WorkAbility/We Can Work Program.
On-going communication with WorkAbility/We Can Work staff - respond promptly to communications
Employer Expectations
Be friendly and maintain a positive attitude
Show initiative and have a good work ethic
Maintain consistent attendance at work
Notify the supervisor (and WorkAbility/We Can Work staff) in case of an emergency, illness or if will be late or absent
Dress appropriately and maintain good hygiene
Ask for help (self-advocate) if you don't understand
Follow supervisor's instructions & safety rules
Use technology responsibly (Internet, headphones, etc.)
Follow company's cell phone policy
Keep conversations and actions worksite appropriate
Use appropriate social skills
Limit interaction with friends and family while working
