Post-Production
What is Post-Production?
In short, Post-Production is everything after the recording phase of your project. Post-Production or simply referred to as "Post", includes the phases of organizing your footage/ recordings ("logging"), editing your media project, exporting or sharing your final media, and sharing or distributing your project amongst a large number of potential publishing platforms including Mediaspace, YouTube & more. Post-Production can often include extensive time commitments, but this can also be exciting as this is the phase when you project really takes shape and becomes more cohesive. Errors, new ideas and even completely different media can evolve from the Post phase, and it's important to consider this phase as a critical juncture of reviewing and revising , having others who can review, advise, appropriately critique and instruct will be invaluable to making your final project better. Although you should collaborate with others AND/OR seek additional contributors to the editing phase, often this process is relegated to just 1 or 2 people who finalize the decisions.
