Blair-Taylor school district and the community prioritize community service and involvement, which students are highly encourage to participate in throughout their years in Middle and High School. Community service is important because it fosters a sense of responsibility, empathy, and connection. For students, volunteering provides valuable life experiences that build character, leadership skills, and a deeper understanding of the world beyond the classroom. It also encourages civic engagement and helps young people see the impact they can make through small acts of service. Some clubs/organizations may require you to track your community service throughout the year and get them signed by a supervisor. Students may use the community service form linked below
