Some of the most important environmental concerns, is soil erosion. Air pollution is also a problem in big cities, which is due to industries and transportation. The nation’s fish resources are in danger of water pollution. Some endangered species are the red-backed squirrel monkey, tundra peregrine falcon, American crocodile, and some different kinds of sea turtles.
Arts- Many of the countries folkloric traditions come from the central region. The Azuero Peninsula is Panama’s heartland and the best known styles of music and dances originate there. Some instruments that they play are guitars, drums, and an instrument played by running a stick over carved notches. And they have a big rock scene there.
Culture- There are many different races in this small area. People in Panama focus on their immediate family first. Their culture is of limited trust, dating back hundreds of years. When they are out in public Panamanians are worried about how they dress and smell. They are never really stressed out, because in their minds there is always time to get things done. People in Panama love big meals rarely without rice and are big meat eaters.
Language- The official language in Panama is Spanish and is what most people speak in the country. Some other people speak English, Bilingual, Buglere, and Yue.
