We have looked at what early forms of democracy looked like and have compared it to what we know about democracy in Canada. As we continue to investigate the rights and freedoms of a democratic society, we will be creating our own charter of rights and freedoms and throughout the year we will refer back to this important class document to refine it, just as Canada has done over the years.
