Length of Program: 11am-1pm
Description:
Field Trips are a fun and creative way to show students what goes on behind closed doors at the restaurant. They get a kitchen tour, learn about bread making (and get to play with the dough), do a relay and dress up like servers and learn to take orders, learn about allergies and steps to keep our guests safe. We play a video that shows more about the meat and made-from-scratch side items, do crafts, a peanut stomp (students get to make a big mess with peanuts), have lunch, play with chalk, do a scavenger hunt around the building. The best part of playing with our mascot, Andy the Armadillo, we take a large group photo with him and the kids sign a photo frame and then we hang it at the restaurant. Students also receive a goodie bag when they leave!
Please notify of any food allergies within the class. Please obtain parental permission for students to be able to take a picture with Andy the Armadillo.
