The Show of Love is an assembly program that specializes in character education for schools. Although respect and kindness are the main objectives, civility and responsibility are constantly highlighted as we continually strive to stop the hurt.
Joe Trionfero is a professional entertainer who has transformed himself into a motivational speaker for schools, conferences and businesses over the past twenty five years. The father of five children, Joe was born in Oswego New York and currently resides in Baldwinsville, New York with his wife Denise. Joe's secret to his success is his trademark style of high energy and enthusiasm combined with his down to earth personality.
Audience participation is the main stay of all Show of Love presentations. They are entertaining, enthusiastic and inspiring but, it is the involvement of the audience that makes them work. Combine this with a mix of music, fun and competition, and they captivate the attention of people of all ages. This style works for ten people in a class room or a thousand people at a conference as it engages participants without embarrassing them.
All of the Show of Love presentations were designed to enhance the Character Education Plan of your school while at the same time pursuing our personal goal of activating The Golden Rule. Ultimately it is our hope to stop the senseless hurting that kids do to one another.

Description:
"Put Yourself in Their Shoes" is an interactive presentation, which offers a simple process of understanding feelings. How do we do it? We use audio clips of famous characters of classic "kid" movies. (Shrek, Harry, Nemo, Lilo and others) Within these segments, students identify a variety of feelings by listening with their ears, eyes and heart. Our goal is to stop the bullying, teasing, and hurting. Although the Golden Rule is a rule that almost every student knows, it is not always followed. We feel the answer lies in helping students better understand one another. We do this by teaching empathy and communication skills. This improved awareness of; "how the other person feels" goes a long way in stopping the senseless hurting that so often happens.
The ultimate lesson is to teach the students how to listen carefully, and care enough to "treat others the way they would want to be treated."

Description:
This interactive character education program is done in a game show format. Respect, responsibility, and the rules of your school are the ultimate goals as we assist in the implementation of your District Code of Conduct.
Students and staff are teamed together to use their best listening skills to answer a variety of questions on topics ranging from music to literature. Students with the correct answers earn their way to the stage to be challenged to define and apply the key concepts of character education. Your school Code of Conduct is translated into words, concepts, and expected behavior that your students can understand and model.
