Description:
We are proud to celebrate Americas 250th Anniversary with a unique demonstration performance of the history of drumming in the good old USA! Starting with military drumming in the colonial period and progressing through contemporary drum set playing in pop, jazz, rock and rap styles, our performance will focus on the influence of orchestral music, pop music, drum corps, percussion ensemble and drum line by playing pieces such as: THE THREE CAMPS, BACK STICKING, CRAZY ARMY, CHICAGO, IT’S A FUNKIFICATION MANIFESTATION SITUATION, PAUL REVERES RAP and others. The content and length of our presentation will be modified to appeal to our audience, grade level and performance venue, and will be specifically structured to meet your needs.
