Ithaca’s favorite powerhouse brass band! FCBB fuses the sound of New Orleans street music with funk, jazz, pop, and rock-and-roll. Voted best local band in the 2020 Ithaca Times Readers Poll, FCBB performs original tunes, New Orleans classics, and brassy arrangements of your favorite pop songs. With a sizable collective of trumpets, trombones, saxes, drums, and a big green sousaphone, the Fall Creek Brass Band always attracts a crowd and gets everybody’s feet moving.
Originally formed at Dryden High School over a decade ago, FCBB experienced a recent rebirth, recruiting the talent of funk masters all around the Ithaca area. Since then, the band has developed its own funky sound, which can be heard on their latest album, Prime Time. Now, FCBB plays many events and venues around the Ithaca area and beyond, and they are a crowd favorite at the Grassroots Festival, Ithaca Festival, Downtown Concert Series, Porchfest, and many more.

The Fall Creek Brass Band is a crowd-favorite powerhouse brass group! FCBB fuses the sound of New Orleans street music with funk, jazz, and pop music. This band performs original tunes, New Orleans classics, and brassy arrangements of favorite pop songs. With a mighty crew of trumpets, trombones, saxes, drums, and a big green sousaphone, FCBB always attracts a crowd and gets everybody’s feet moving. The Fall Creek Brass Band's personnel includes many music educators from Ithaca and Broome-Tioga school districts, with experience in Elementary, Middle School, and High School programs. FCBB is available for school performances and clinics. Topics for clinics can include:
