Established in 1951 by Corning Glass Works (now Corning Incorporated) as a gift to the nation for the company’s 100th anniversary, The Corning Museum of Glass is a not-for-profit museum dedicated to exploring a single material: glass. Annually welcoming just under half a million visitors from around the world, the Museum's campus is home to the world’s most comprehensive collection of glass, the world’s foremost library on glass, and one of the top glassworking schools in the world.

Length of Program: at least 2 hours
Description:
Our Fun with Glass program allows your group of 10 or more students to experience up to three activities in this hands-on glass adventure. Students may learn to blow hot glass holiday ornaments, pull and shape molten glass into flowers, fuse colored shards into a suncatcher or sandblast a drinking glass with original designs. Projects are dependent on the age of the students.

Group Glass Activities Costs beginning Jan 1, 2024:
· Sand blasting a drinking glass - $15.00 per participant. The glass can be taken home that day
· Fusing a sun catcher - $22.00 (plus $5.00 shipping fee). Has to cool overnight
· Hot glass item (ornament or flower) - $32.00 (plus $5.00 shipping fee). Must be cooled overnight.
Multiple activities
· Hot Glass item & Suncatcher - $48.00 (plus $10.00 shipping fee). Hot Glass must be cooled overnight.
· Hot Glass item & Sandblasting -$43.00 (plus $5.00 shipping fee). Hot Glass must be cooled overnight.
· Suncatcher & Sandblasting - $33.00 (plus $5.00 shipping fee). Suncatcher must be cooled overnight.
· Hot Glass item & Suncatcher & Sandblasting - $59.00 (plus $10.00 shipping fee). Hot Glass & Suncatcher must be cooled overnight.

· Hot Glass item & Sandblasting -$45.00 (plus $5.00 shipping fee). Hot Glass must be cooled overnight.
· Suncatcher & Sandblasting - $36.00 (plus $5.00 shipping fee). Suncatcher must be cooled overnight.
· Hot Glass item & Suncatcher & Sandblasting - $59.00 (plus $10.00 shipping fee). Hot Glass & Suncatcher must be cooled overnight.
The entire group must do the same set of activities
All items will be shipped to one common school address
Guided tour cost:
A free 1.5 hour guided tour that includes the live hot glass show can be added to the Fun with Glass workshop.
Youth age 17 and under receive free entry to the museum
1 free adult for every 10 youth
1:1 aides, interpretation staff, or any other necessary staff also receive complimentary admission.
Additional adults are $18.70
