As we reflect upon the school year that is about to conclude, we have SO MUCH to be proud of and SO MUCH to look forward to as we turn the chapter into next school year. In the meantime, enjoy the final weeks of celebration as the school year winds down, the sunny days of summer that lie ahead, and some time with family and friends during summer break.
The best is yet to come and we thank you for working with us on the journey of success!
REMINDER: Friday, May 23 (the last day of school) is an early release day for all BCS students. Dismissal will be at 1:15 pm. Bussing/transportation will follow the 1:15pm dismissal time.

Dirt is moving!
A new service drive to the north side of the building has been carved out and the stone base is installed.
The old service drive and the concrete sidewalks within the expansion area have been removed.
Excavated dirt stockpiles are being moved to the district "hill" on the east side of campus for reserves.
Realignment and relocation of utility lines, along with the new facility expansion foundation and footers, will begin in the near future.
Coming next school year, Bryan City Schools will be using ParentSquare for all school communication, primarily with email, text and app notifications. We have several groups within the school currently testing this platform, and is piloting it with the entire district beginning this May. ParentSquare will replace all communication tools currently being used, and will be one place for all school communication starting next school year.
ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent, using their information that is currently in PowerSchool. We encourage parents to download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.
Students (MS/HS) can use the StudentSquare app as well to connect with coaches and teachers.
Here’s what you can do with ParentSquare:
Receive messages from the school via email, text or app notification
Choose to receive information as it comes or all at once with a daily digest at 6pm
Communicate in your preferred language
Direct message teachers, staff and other parents
Sign forms & permission slips, receive report cards, sign up to volunteer and more.
All current parent/guardian contacts have received a ParentSquare invitation via email. Please review the information to set up your account.
We will continue to use SchoolMessenger for attendance and alerts through the end of this school year and then all staff will transition to using ParentSquare for the 25-26 school year. During the transition period, you may receive duplicate messages from both systems.
Note that Bryan City Schools is eliminating Facebook Messenger as a district communication tool as of June 30, 2025. Please use the messaging feature of ParentSquare as a replacement.
