As we close out the school year, I want to extend my thanks to each of you for your continued support, involvement, and encouragement. This year has been filled with meaningful learning, joyful connections, and many accomplishments—both big and small.
Our students have grown in so many ways, and that success would not be possible without the partnership of our dedicated staff, supportive families, and generous community. Whether you volunteered your time, attended events, or simply cheered our students on from afar—thank you.
We are so proud of what we’ve achieved together and excited about what lies ahead. Wishing you all a restful, safe, and fun-filled summer. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the fall!
Please be sure to pay close attention to all of the information coming home in the last few days. There are many reminders and important details being shared.
*Students will be dismissed at 1:15 on the last day of school (May 23rd.)
*Final Grade Cards will be shared via email with families.
In grades 3-5 we focus all year on what it takes to show improvement. Students have been setting and achieving goals represented by the leaves on the tree. They were able to earn tickets during state test prep and on testing days simply by using "tools" that had been worked on all year long which would contribute to their best performances. On the final diagnostic test students were striving for their highest score by at least one point. Now that the end of the year is here staff and students are excited to be celebrating ALL the ways students have grown! Congratulations 3rd, 4th and 5th graders on a year filled with hard work and many successes!
The 3rd and 4th graders put on an AMAZING Spring Concert. Ms. Tappen and the students had been working hard during their general music classes and were excited to see so many faces in the audience. Thanks to all who came out to support these young musicians!
If you missed the concert, you can watch it courtesy of Golden Bear TV.
We had great fun at our field days. Thanks to Mr. Cummins, Mrs. Hall and our high school helpers for making it such a great time!
Sunshine, smiles, and baseball! Our fifth graders had a blast cheering on the Toledo Mudhens on Wednesday. From enjoying the game with friends to making it onto the big screen, it was a day full of fun and great memories. Every student represented Bryan with pride! Huge thanks to our amazing PTO for making this special trip happen, and to the wonderful chaperones who came along for the adventure.
Congratulations to the the winners of the 4th Grade 2025 Good Citizen Essay contest. Each winner received a $25 check from our sponsors and a candy bouquet from the 4th grade teachers. This year the essays were stupendous!
4th grade students from all over the county came together to enjoy an educational performance by members of the Toledo Symphony's woodwind quintet. This is part of the Symphony's outreach program and all the selections were geared toward an elementary audience. A special thanks to Mr. Jason Luthy and the rest of the Toledo Symphony committee for making this event possible.
Mrs. DelFavero's 4th grade social studies classes held a career fair this week. Students researched a variety of careers and completed projects about their findings. The students enjoyed showing off their projects to other classes, staff and members of the community.
