The Hittites were ancient Anatolian people who established a powerful empire . This is what we call Turkey. Their invention of the wheel was significant While the wheel itself was invented earlier in Mesopotamia, the Hittites greatly improved its application, especially in warfare. The Hittite chariot design influenced neighboring civilizations, spreading the technology throughout the ancient Near East. Beyond warfare, the use of wheels also helped with transportation and trade. The impact of the Hittites’ advancements with wheels can be seen in the way they shaped military tactics and encouraged trade.
The wheels were specifically designed for strong efficient chariots with lightweight, spoked wheels, which allowed for greater speed on the battlefield. They were made with 4 rods instead of 8 making it faster and easier to transport during Battle.
The wheels impacted the Fertile Crescent significantly. The wheels revolutionized transportation making it much easier to travel. This also allowed farmers and merchants to make trades and transport crops, this boosted the economy. The wheels also helped the change in warfare, making them lightweight and faster.

When trade was promoted there economy grew, making the civilizations have more resources. The wheels made it easier to travel with the necessary resources that they needed. They could travel all over to other places and adapt to others cultures.
