Introduction
Ancient Egypt is located in northern Africa, next to the Saudi Arabian peninsula and the Mediterranean Sea. Egypt has a dry and hot climate, although it is cold during the night, summers are very hot and winters are mild.
The ancient Egyptian civilization first started around 3100 B.C.E.. Many different things were invented during that time. Some of these inventions include types of medicine, mathematics, irrigation, calendar, mummification, papyrus, and the pyramids. These inventions of the ancient Egyptians have had a large impact on the rest of the world.
The main source of water in this dry environment is the Nile River. Located in northeastern Africa flowing down eleven countries. Egypt being one of the eleven countries. The other ten are Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, Ethiopia, and Sudan.
The Egyptian civilization helped shape the world around us today. With their amazing discovery we were able to improve and build many more things and other civilizations.
