Volunteer Sign-ups

Parents who wish to volunteer on campus (if/when allowed) need to be fully vaccinated. Parents can help in the classroom, assist with art, attend class parties, or go on field trips, may need to have been fingerprinted and received police clearance, this depends on the type of volunteering. This is a one-time procedure and will be in effect the entire time your children are at a Belmont/Redwood Shores school.  

Whenever you volunteer on campus please check in at the office first. you’ll pick up a volunteer sticker at the office.  This is for the safety of our kids so that the office is aware of who is on campus at all times.  

Anytime you are in the classroom, it is very important that your personal observations of students remain confidential. Please remember that you are in the classroom to help all students. If anything occurs that you think I should know about, please make me aware- I appreciate your participation and observations. I also appreciate your cooperation with keeping those observations confidential.

Volunteer opportunities include: Room Parents, Art in Action, class parties, weekly classroom helpers, home prep,  school prep, Chromebooks, special interest parent teaching, and reading/writing/math centers.

I will be sending out a Google Sheet Sign Up for parent volunteers. This should sync to the classroom website, so you can come back and check again in case you don't remember.
