First Graders learn proper letter formation and penmanship using Handwriting Without Tears curriculum. The most important aspect of printing practice in first grade is knowing where a letter begins and in what direction to proceed to properly form letters. We work on multisensory handwriting in class and you can help at home by taking some time to observe your child’s strokes and remind them about forming the letters correctly.
The time spent now is an investment in their future penmanship!
