This is a podcast called the Nocturnists, based in San Francisco. They are creating an oral and textual history of COVID-19. In particular, they’re actively recruiting audio diarists to periodically share their experiences as health care workers on the frontlines of the pandemic.
They would love to include more medical students and public health workers in this project.

Healing Through Harmony brings student musicians together to put on concerts for patients and assisted living facility residents. In the face of COVID-19, we are putting together an initiative to remain connected. Especially now is the time to provide musical solace and support. Even if you haven't been able to join previously for our live concerts, this would be a great time to join our Healing through Harmony efforts virtually!
Sign-up on this Google sheet. We update song requests are updated on the 2nd tab. We also encourage you to check back periodically to see the other instruments that are signing up and reach out to them for duets/small ensemble playing. We’ll be able to splice your parts together.
When you finish recording yourself, upload the file into this Google Drive folder. You’ll see separate folders if you’re doing a solo or ensemble playing. We are slating for first batch of edited recordings to go out by 4/12.
